You must have a team of at least two people to join the program. The team’s dynamics is an essential part of the selection process.

The program selects startups powered by technology. It will focus primarily on Financial Services, Agribusiness, Mechatronics, Environment and Clean Tech, Education, Health, Tourism and e-commerce.

To help you get the most out of the program, we are mainly looking for startups that have passed the pure idea stage. Ideally, you would have already done preliminary research, designed a first prototype, received feedback from early users, etc. However, if you have a clear vision of your project and still at the idea stage, we will be happy to review your application.

No. It is preferable to submit only one idea. Select the most promising one and that best meets the eligibility criteria of the program.

Yes. Our goal is to have at least 10% foreign startups selected in the first cohort. But since our program is residential, you must be able to be on site in Tunis during the first 4 months of the program.

To fully benefit from the program it is preferable that you speak at least English. International coaches or mentors may only be English-speakers.

You must be 18 or older to participate in the program.

You will receive a confirmation e-mail when you submit successfully your application.

The selection committee will select up to 25 startups. The final number will depend on the quality of submitted applications and on the program's ability to bring real added value to the applicants.

4 months initially. An additional 12 months of support will be offered to startups that will be selected at the end of the 4-month program.

Our program is a 4-month in-house program. During these 4 months, most sessions are mandatory. You have to be physically present about 2 days per week. You are free to organize your time as you wish and we recommend you to work in the space that is made available to you.

BIAT is the founding partner of the program. BIAT also provides seed-funding for selected startups and endeavors to connect you with its network and partners.

For selected founders who would not be able to stay with parents or relatives in Tunis, we will do our best to find solutions on a case by case basis.

At the end of the program, we organize a Demo Day. This event will be an opportunity for you to pitch the progress of your project in front of a large audience including potential investors and partners. The program includes a pitch preparation phase to make sure your team is ready for the Demo Day.

At the end of the program, a committee will select startups who will benefit from an additional 12-month support including free access to the workspace, regular progress meetings, access to markets, business development and a legal and administrative support. These 12 months will give the selected startups time to explore the full potential of their project. They will also receive an investment of 15,000 TND in cash in exchange for 5% stake of equity.
